When to Have Your Big Event

If you want to bring in a Big Event, you can do so anytime throughout the year. However, if you want to take advantage of a particular time of the year, here are some ideas that you may want to consider:

Great Times to bring in the Super Party or Super Splash Party:
Since we usually bring in the Super Party or Super Splash Party after the fundraiser is completed, some organizations see these events as a great way to celebrate the end of the semester or school year. Why not give your sellers something to look forward to that’s really fun and exciting? After all, they’ve worked hard all semester and may need to unwind a little and blow off some steam. A lot of organizations use these events for their ‘End of the Semester’ or ‘End of the Year’ celebrations!

Great Times to bring in the Magic Show:

FALL:

• The following events occur during the month of September:
  • National Literacy Month
  • National Library Card Sign up Month
  • International Literacy Day (Highlighting the importance of reading from a multicultural, international perspective)
  • Citizenship Day
  • National Good Neighbor Day
• The following events occur during the month of October:
  • National Safe School Week
  • National Character Counts Week
  • National Red Ribbon Week
  • Halloween
• The following events occur during the month of November:
  • National Youth Appreciation Week
  • National Parental Involvement Day
  • National Family Week
  • National Recycling Week

SPRING:

• The following events occur during the month of February:
  • Valentine’s Day (Schools often use Valentine’s Day to learn about friendships)
• The following events occur during the month of April:
  • International Children’s Book Day
  • National Library Week
  • National Student Leadership Week
• The following event occurs during the month of May:
  • National Reading Is Fundamental Week

The Reptile Adventures Show can be brought in any time after your fundraiser is completed; although some schools like to work it in with their science curriculum.

PLEASE NOTE: Fundraiser must be completed first. Bill must be paid in full prior to date of event.
